What is the life that is waiting for you?

“We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us.” Joseph Campbell

Do you long to “lift off” in your life but are held back by fear of the familiar?  You are not alone!   It is much easier and more comfortable to remain in a known  rather than venturing into unknown territory.  The result of staying in place is fairly predictable but is also often lacking zest. What if you could take some small simple steps to begin to explore the life that is waiting for you, a life of passion?

If you never examine your life, one thing is for certain, nothing will ever change .  Why not begin to merely explore your dreams on paper?

1. List  all the “dreams” you had before life interrupted you with other responsibilities, shoulds etc.

2. Next to each dream, write down all the things you would need to do and learn to make your dreams a reality.

3.  Now create a list all the people, you know,  who are following dreams similar to the ones you are pondering.

4.  Contact the people on your list and ask them how they were able to live their dream.  Most people will be flattered your aske and very willing to share their journey.

5.  Take all the information you have learned about your dreams and  ask yourself, “what is it that is getting in my way to living my dream”?  List all of the fears, roadblocks and objections that work against you.

6.  Next, ask yourself, “If there were no roadblocks, and I was able to begin living my dream, what would I be doing right now,” describe living your dream in full detail. . .

Remember, “A journey begins with a single step.” Are you willing?
