“The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished.”
Dr. Oz

Yikes, I’d like “inner peace,” but this is a tall order. The thought of finishing the number of things I have started but never completed is daunting. I like the idea, but the reality of accomplishing this huge task, paralyzes me!
How to begin . . . I need to make a plan!
What if I saw the piles of leaves on the ground as a metaphor for all the things I have begun in my life but never completed?
How could I possibly begin to “pick up” the large number of “leaves” that surround me?
What if I picked up just one leaf at a time, beginning with the largest?
I got it. . .
“There is never enough time to do everything, but there is always enough time to do the most important thing.”
Brian Tracy
Ok this thought is less daunting and more manageable . . .
I am going to set my priorities.
What is the one “leaf” that I could pick up to begin clearing the “pile”?
When will I begin to pick up the first “leaf”?
When will I complete the task?
What is the next “leaf,” I want to pick up?
What about you? Do you have any “leaves” that have piled up?
How are you going to clear your path?
What is your first “leaf” you want to pick up?
